Until Thursday, I was a quinoa virgin. I finally cooked up some of it and added some steamed asparagus and carrots, along with a bit of ham for added protein. It was pretty tasty. I mean, the quinoa was pretty bland, but that makes it versatile. A friend recommended I boil it in broth for added flavor, which really does sound good. I will definitely be making more with it!!
